4 Time Saving Baking Hacks

Linking arms this holiday season with baking expert and one of my best pals Colin Asuncion, @colinasuncion from @cbcbakingshow!

The holiday season is all about coming together, and what better way to do so than by creating delightful memories in the kitchen? Join me and the talented Colin Asuncion, as we share some incredible time-saving baking hacks that will elevate your cookie game and save you precious holiday minutes. 🎄🍪👩‍🍳

Try these 4 time saving baking hacks:

1) Add food colouring to your dough, such as the green and white marble effect we created for our sugar cookies (I mean, Colin created while I watched). By doing this you add a decorative element to your cookies so you don’t have to ice your cookies later, saving time and cutting the sugar.

2) Elevate your cookie game by introducing 3 types of cookies and varying their colours , here we have 2 types of green (sugar cookie, shortbread cookie) and a natural almond colour (amoretto cookie).

3) Incorporate easy and fun accents like we did, such as crushed nuts, cranberries and pistachio cream and form your cookies into a fun holiday shape like a Christmas tree, wreath or snowman.

4) Pipe soft cookie dough into fun shapes instead of rolling it out to save time but keep them looking beautiful and elevated.
