Healthier Cranberry, Apple, Raspberry Hand Pie Recipe with Nuts for Cheese Cran Cheese Filling & Drizzle

Makes 6-8 hand pies

Drizzle:
1 Cranberry & Pink Pepper Nuts for Cheese Slice
7 Tbsp of Powdered Sugar
1/2 cup of water
Small handful of frozen cranberries

Combine all ingredients in food processor.

Filling:
2 granny smith apples
1/2 cup of cranberries
1 carton of raspberries
1 tbsp of brown sugar
1 tbsp of orange juice
1 tbsp of cinnamon

Wash, chop and peel apples, add washed raspberries and frozen cranberry and remaining ingredients over medium heat, stir here and there, until mushy and cooked through.

Healthier Whole Wheat Pie Crust
2 and 1/2 cups (315g) whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon salt
6 Tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
2/3 cup (130g) vegetable shortening, chilled
1/2 cup (120ml) ice cold water
Combine all ingredients cold, chill in fridge for 2 hours before rolling out.
