Puff Pastry Apple Pumpkins: A Speedy Thanksgiving Treat

Quick puff pastry apple pies in the shape of little pumpkins πŸŽƒ we'll have to work on shortening that recipe title. These were so delicious and super fast to make! Perfect for thanksgiving dinner next weekend πŸ¦ƒ

Inspired by similar recipes online, my recipe consists of sliced apples (I prefer tart apples and used a mix of red and green)

2 packages of puff pastry (you get about 6 fully wrapped apple slices per roll)

Cinnamon and granulated white sugar topping (or pumpkin pie spice and sugar)

Egg yolk wash for the top.

Assemble your little pumpkins as shown. I used the top of a water bottle to cut out the centres. Carefully wrapped the apples (the faster you work the better, the puff pastry starts to get harder to work with). Painted an egg wash and sprinkled with the sugar spice. Place into preheated oven at 400 for about 20 minutes or until golden and cooked through.

Elevate your Thanksgiving dessert game with these quick and scrumptious Puff Pastry Apple Pumpkins – adorable treats that are as delightful to make as they are to eat! Inspired by similar recipes online, these little pumpkins are not just a feast for the eyes but a burst of flavor in every bite.
